One-to-one lessons, shaped around you
I offer personalised one-to-one singing lessons for students aged 11 and upwards. Whether you’re completely new to singing or an experienced performer, lessons are shaped around your voice, your interests and what you’d like to achieve.
I’ve taught students from all walks of life, from beginners to semi-professional and professional singers, and even students in their 80s. It’s never too late to discover your voice.
Find your voice
Confidence & performance
Building confidence is an important part of my teaching. Whether you’re singing for yourself, preparing for an audition or gig, or developing your performance skills, I’ll help you feel more comfortable using your voice.
Students can also take part in student concerts and my jazz workshops, where you can experience singing alongside professional musicians in a supportive setting.
Lessons combine vocal technique, repertoire and performance skills, with songs chosen to suit your voice and the music you enjoy. We can explore pop, blues, jazz, soul, folk, country and musical theatre. As a jazz and soul performer, these styles are particularly close to my heart, but I’m always happy to explore what inspires you.
The joy of singing
Music brings me peace and joy, and I love helping others discover what their voices can do. Singing can be a wonderful release and a powerful way to express emotions that are difficult to put into words.
Seeing someone find freedom, confidence and joy in their voice is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.

Platform4 Showcases
A chance to take the stage
Three times a year, I host Platform4 at The Pheasantry, PizzaExpress Live, alongside Shades of Soul. Each showcase gives three singers the opportunity to perform with an exceptional live band on a prestigious London stage, surrounded by friends and family.
The performers change each time and include both students and singers I’ve met along the way. For some, it’s a chance to enjoy the experience of performing live; for others, it can be a stepping stone towards performing more regularly and professionally.
I introduce the artists and perform a few songs myself, but the evening is truly about giving each singer their moment in the spotlight and celebrating what they can do.
Testimonials
Linley is an outstanding vocal coach, her lessons create a positive nurturing environment where you can explore and develop your singing voice and performance presence.
Originally, I came to Linley as I wanted confidence to be able sing in group classes at RACC, I never imagined how I would grow not only as a singer but in how I express myself. Under Linley’s guidance my confidence has soared, I now sing regularly at open mics, as well as my own gigs in the past.
I wholeheartedly recommend Linley for lessons, whether as a beginner or advanced singer.
